Notes

1 During jodan juji uke, right tonfa is on top of left tonfa. Karateka then blocks high and wide to left and right, before returning tonfa to belt.
2 Karateka blocks down to the left and overhead to the right, preparing the left foot for a kick. The karateka makes the kick, then steps down in to a zenkutsu dachi. As the kick is made, the left hand moves forward, then back into ushiro hiji, while the right hand circles back and down before driving forwars into a gyaku zuki.
3 Same as (2), left/right reversed.
4 Karateka flicks left tonfa out, extends right tonfa under left, makes a half turn in place to the left, draws the left leg back into nechoashi dachi, and drives up into a jodan juji uke
7 Karateke extends both tonfa, right under left, steps back and to the left into a slant kiba dachi, and drives down in a gedan juji uke
12 The karateka rotates both forearms one quarte turn along the arm, so that the palms face inwards. The hands open, so the tonfa hang downwards from the palms. The tonfa are spun out and up, over the hand, and then caught halfway up the crank, handles pointing out to the side, then dropped so the handles fit back onto the palms, when the tonfa are cracked sharply together.
The left arm goes to the waist, in an ushiro hiji, while the right arm returns to a vertical foream block.
13 The karateka swings the right tonfa left and up and behind to backhand strike an attacker from the right rear, then forward to strike an attacker from the right front, then backhand and out to the right, to strike an attacker from the far right, each strike on the forehead
17 Karateka front kicks into zenkutsu dachi, retracts tonfa, sets hands, makes a half turn to the left, steps back into nechoashi dachi, and performs a left armed ude uke.
20 Karateka performs yoko geri to the right, bribgs the foot back to the knee, steps down to the right into kiba dachi, then drags the left foot to the right into mosubi dachi.
28 Karateka twists a quarter right from the waist, in kamae, and the slowly (yukuri) twists back, looking for a new opponent
29 Karateka locates opponent half-left, and hops an eighth turn left to face
