The fist of the hand making the age uke comes first to its own shoulder before rising into the block. When complete, the fist should be above its own side eye. |
Starting from the kiba dachi, the left leg moves half a step to the right. The right leg is then raised, preparing for a kick. The practitioner performs an ushiro yoko geri, while the right hand performs an ushiro tettsui. The right leg is then pulled back to the kick prep position. The practitioner then jumps in place, replacing the left foot with the right foot. The left hand comes to the right ear, palm open, right hand covers the groin, and finally the practitioner steps into a shuto uke in a kokutsu dachi. |
The practitioner executesuraken to the left then, while lion breathing and dipping lower into stance, brings the arm down and round into an ude uke. This is intended to break the arm of an opponent who is gripping the left shoulder. |
