Shuto Uke

Note: shuto uke is a block with the pinkie knife-edge of the palm.. The block is made by pivoting the arm forward over the elbow and, at the latest possible moment, snapping the wrist over so that the back of the hand (haisjo) is upwards. This block extends past the torso, to beyond the knee
