Tettsui

Note: tettsui is a strike with the haito or shuto side of the clenched fist, rather than with the knuckles as in one of the many zuki. The preparation, below, shows the strike starting overhead, whence it comes straight down, ending with a downward snap of the wrist which delivers the power.
